Weekly Updates November 21st-23rd

 

• Next week, November 23rd and 24th there is NO SCHOOL!  I hope you all have a wonderful "Thanksgiving" holiday!  School will be dismissed as usual on Wednesday, November 22nd at 4pm.

• Spelling Hw: This week we will be learning about the Silent E.  Below are the spelling words for the week, the parent guide, and a video we will be using at school that discusses the Silent E :)

•  Progress Alerts were sent home on Friday.  If you would like to meet with me to discuss your child's progress I am available at the following times:
• Monday: 1:35pm-2:15pm
• Tuesday: 1:35pm-3:00pm
• Wednesday: 3:00pm-3:45pm

• This week we started a new weekly project called, "Books from Home".  One of our students brought in a book from home and asked me to read it to the class.  Together we read The Snail and the Whale.  Please feel free to bring in an English Book from Home for us to read aloud in class :) (Sorry my German is not good enough yet to read a German book!) 

 

• Thank you to all the families who participated in Weihnachten im Schuhkarton.  The children really enjoyed wrapping the gifts!
