Parent Night

This Tuesday, 18th of September is MIS Parent Night!  Below is the schedule for the night.

When: 7pm
Where: MIS Viernheim blue hall.
What: What to expect for the year 2012-2013
Who: Only adults - (No aftercare available)
All grades will start in the blue hall where a short discussion concerning important information for the 2012-2013 school year will be presented.  After this, we will split up into grade levels, for example, first grade team, second grade, etc.  These meetings will occur in the grade level classroom.  At this time the teachers will present the different curriculum (Math, Reading, etc.) and answer any questions you may have.  To close the evening, each grade level will choose 2 parent representatives. These parents will have the duty of communicating with the classroom teacher the concerns or ideas that the parents of that specific grade level might have.  For example, many parents may feel that their children should deserve a second snack time during the day that occurs in the afternoon.  The class representatives would come to the classroom teacher with their concerns and they would discuss the issue together with the teacher.  Then the representative and classroom teacher would relay the information back to the parents of that grade level.
